So for using the mill you will want to know how to use both Fusion 360 as well as knowing how to use Inventor. For making a break bracket you will want to make everything in inventor and then transfer the file into Fusion 360 and finalize the tool paths and the tool that you will be using. For the break bracket you will want to use Inventor first and make the shape that you need I personally took the lowest height and extruded a brick out of it and I then went around and made the other dimensions and would then extrude the taller circles last and then I would follow the instructions given out by our teacher and they were really helpful and I found everything very easy while using that hand out. To give you the rundown you want to make sure that you know what tool you are using because you will need to enter in the dimensions of that tool and then you want to orientate the whole piece so then that the Z-axis is facing up and the Y-axis is going up the shorter side. Once you do that you want to export G-Code and then save that file onto your flash drive and then plug it into the machines computer and select that file. Line up the bit in the place where you orientated the piece in the first place. Then have it so then you can't fit a piece of paper under the bit.
I learned that I can do everything that we do in this class very efficiently if I have my mind on a right track and that I can do it well. I feel like that I had a lot of wasted time in this period and I just need to focus for a little bit and I can do anything very simple. I will be able to do anything that I want to do very well if I put my mind to it in the right way. I can finish my projects in a very fast and meaningful fashion.
